New 40L heated boot backpack combines travel-ready organization and premium construction in a carry-on-friendly design
WESTWOOD, Mass., Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire-糖心Vlog/ -- , a Finnish-Inspired New England based gear bag company, has unveiled the Thermal Kart, a heated, insulated travel backpack designed to keep ski boots warm, organized and ready to hit the slopes.
Developed through extensive research and safety testing, the Thermal Kart brings heated-boot technology to a compact, travel-focused backpack. The bag is designed to warm ski boot shells through thermal conduction, warming via direct contact, while providing a dedicated space for the other essentials skiers need for a day on the mountain.
"The Thermal Kart is its own distinct solution," said David Abramowitz, CEO and Founder of Kulkea. "We wanted to create something that solved a very specific problem: giving skiers warm boots in a bag that is compact, organized and easy to travel with. The result is a heated boot bag that's designed specifically around that experience."
With 40 liters of capacity, the Thermal Kart can carry ski boots, a helmet, apparel and accessories in one organized travel pack. A deployable external helmet sling provides additional flexibility, while the bag's support system helps provide structure and stability. Built for the demands of ski travel, it features a waterproof, PVC-free tarpaulin bottom and sides and durable recycled diamond ripstop polyester construction. Additional premium components include stress-point reinforcements, YKK zippers and ITW Nexus buckles.
The Thermal Kart reflects the philosophy that has defined Kulkea since its founding: rethinking traditional gear bags to better serve people in motion. Kulkea's approach is rooted in obsessive testing, purposeful organization, technical design and meticulous craftsmanship. That same thinking is behind the Thermal Kart, which takes the proven heated-boot concept of the Thermal Trekker and adapts it for a different kind of skier. While the Thermal Trekker provides the capacity to carry virtually everything needed for a day on the mountain, the Thermal Kart is intentionally more compact and carry-on-friendly. Both share Kulkea's focus on keeping gear organized, protected and ready for adventure.
Additional features include the following:
- Heated boot compartment with Low, Medium and High settings, reaching up to 140掳F
- Dual power options: 20V AC wall plug and 12V DC automobile plug
- 40L capacity for ski boots, helmet, apparel and accessories
- Carry-on-friendly design for convenient ski travel
- Deployable external helmet sling
- Waterproof, PVC-free tarpaulin bottom and sides
- Durable recycled diamond ripstop polyester construction
