Mattamy Homes, North America's largest family-owned homebuilder, is pleased to announce that its Tradition master-planned community in Port St. Lucie has ranked No. 23 on RCLCO Real Estate Consulting's 2026 Mid-Year Top 50 Master-Planned Communities list.
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire-ÌÇÐÄVlog/ --Â , North America's largest family-owned homebuilder, is pleased to announce that its master-planned community in Port St. Lucie has ranked No. 23 on RCLCO Real Estate Consulting's .
RCLCO has tracked the nation's top-selling master-planned communities for more than 30 years. Tradition posted 279 new-home sales in the first half of 2026, up 14% from 245 during the same period last year. Sales across this year's Top 50 rose nearly 3% compared with the first half of 2025, outperforming the broader U.S. new-home market.
"Tradition's continued recognition among the nation's top-selling master-planned communities speaks to the strong demand we're seeing from buyers and the experience we've worked to create here," said Dan Grosswald, President of Mattamy's Southeast Florida Division. "Many of today's buyers want a community where they can feel connected, enjoy the outdoors and have places to gather. We believe our continued investment in that experience is an important part of our success."
Mattamy Homes acquired Tradition in 2018 and has since put an increased emphasis on expanding the community's selection of neighborhoods and amenities. Tradition offers an extensive network of parks and outdoor spaces, including the 73-foot Heart in the Park sculpture and The Shoppes at the Heart, an adjacent commercial component. Additionally, Mattamy opened Stars & Stripes Park earlier this year, which features green space, scenic ponds and interactive art honoring veterans and first responders.
Opening soon are the Tradition Nature Trail and Tradition Regional Park, which will bring sports fields, cycling facilities, nature trails and other outdoor recreation to the area. Mattamy has worked with local government officials to bring several of Tradition's public parks and recreational destinations to life, enhancing opportunities for both residents and the broader community.
The home builder has also been expanding mobility options throughout the community to give residents more ways to get around without relying on a car for every trip, helping reduce vehicle traffic and associated carbon emissions. Residents can use the TIM Shuttle and e-bike rentals to travel between neighborhoods and destinations, while Mattamy is also piloting a ride-hailing service within the community.
At the heart of that community experience is Tradition Square, the community's town center, which hosts a year-round calendar of events for residents and visitors, including a weekly Sunday morning neighborhood market and live outdoor concerts. Mattamy Homes also launched the T Club earlier this year, an exclusive membership program offering residents additional perks and opportunities to connect with the community.
Together, these investments continue to expand how residents can live, connect and spend time within Tradition as the community grows. To learn more about Tradition and schedule a tour, visit or call 772-207-0057.
