New company brings Pearmill's performance methodology to a broader market through AI-native delivery, vertical expertise and a transparent, productized model.
NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire-ÌÇÐÄVlog/ -- Pearmill, the AI-native creative and performance agency, today announced the launch of , a new company built to bring sophisticated growth marketing to small and mid-sized businesses.
Smaller businesses don't have smaller growth problems. They've just historically had fewer ways to solve them.
Pedal was created to change that. The company takes the performance methodology, technology and operating discipline Pearmill has developed through managing more than $500 million in advertising spend and adapts it for businesses traditionally underserved by the enterprise agency model.
The launch is also a tangible extension of the next chapter Pearmill introduced earlier this year: a model built around the intersection of human judgment and machine intelligence, creative and performance, and a belief that AI will fundamentally change not only what marketing teams can do, but how the work gets done.
"When we refreshed Pearmill, we talked about building for where growth is going. Pedal is one expression of that," said Nima Gardideh, CEO of Pearmill. "AI is changing the economics of great marketing. It gives us an opportunity to bring the rigor we've developed at Pearmill to a much broader set of businesses. Not by shrinking the enterprise agency model, but by building something better suited to them from the start."
Pedal is led by Justin Griffiths, Co-Founder and Head of Strategy & GTM, and Chad Hilyard, Co-Founder and Head of Account Management. Together, they are building the company around a more focused operating model for small and local businesses, combining hands-on performance expertise with the systems, technology and discipline needed to make sophisticated growth marketing more accessible.
Pedal combines performance media, growth operations, and web design and development to help businesses turn marketing investment into measurable customer growth. AI is embedded throughout the operating model, from research and analysis to optimization and execution, while human expertise remains firmly in control of strategy, judgment and decision-making.
The company is initially focused on small and local businesses where marketing can be closely connected to leads, appointments and revenue, with particular depth in elective and aesthetic healthcare and other high-consideration, lead-driven categories.
Pedal's commercial model is equally deliberate: published pricing, no setup fees, month-to-month engagements and no long-term contracts. Clients own their advertising accounts, websites, domains and other marketing assets from day one. Plans begin at $2,500 per month.
"Smaller businesses don't need a smaller version of a big agency. They need a model built around how they actually grow, and with a lot less agency baggage," said Justin Griffiths, Co-Founder at Pedal.
That approach is intentionally productized. New clients begin with an audit of their marketing, website and competitive positioning, followed by a strategy and implementation plan. Campaigns can typically be live within two to three weeks, creating a faster path from diagnosis to execution.
Same rigor. Different model. Built for a different market.
