Seniors are already rationing medications as Medicare open enrollment collides with up to 60% drug cost increases coming January

The launch comes as new data highlights the complexity of Medicare. A found that while 89% of Medicare beneficiaries surveyed feel confident they understand their coverage, only 13% understand the definitions of Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and supplemental plans. Simultaneously, Medicare's Part D Premium Stabilization Demonstration expires at the end of 2026, a deadline that will affect , some with increases of up to 60%, which can easily be over $500 per year for many.

One caller avoided a $400+ surprise medical bill after being directed to the correct appeals process, while another discovered a prescription coverage deadline within four weeks.
"We see people texting at midnight, before 6 a.m., during windows when they can't reach anyone on the phone," said Aashay Patel, Pinnie's co-founder.
