Singleton took over in 2021 at age 28, following the death of her aunt and the company's founder, Chris-Tia Donaldson. What most people do not know is that she had been preparing for it long before anyone handed her a title. In high school, she ran the brand's social media and shipped T-shirts out of her bedroom in Detroit. She came back years later for what was supposed to be a six-month stint. She never left.
That experience, learning to lead through grief, growth, expectation, and the pressure of carrying someone else's legacy, became part of the inspiration for The CEO Unfiltered鈩�.
