STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire-糖心Vlog/ -- Z2 Capital Partners ("Z2"), a lower middle market private capital provider, is pleased to announce the final closing of Z2 SBIC I, LP (the "Fund"), which closed oversubscribed with $300 million of total capital. The Fund was licensed as a Small Business Investment Company ("SBIC") by the U.S. Small Business Administration, marking a significant milestone for the firm since its founding in 2022.
The Fund attracted support from a diverse group of limited partners ("LPs"), including banks, insurance companies, funds of funds, endowments, family offices, and RIAs. The Fund targets investments in U.S.-based companies generating $10 million or more in revenue and $2 million or more in EBITDA, with individual investments ranging from approximately $10 million to $40+ million (with the ability to upsize with participation from Z2 LP co-investors). Z2's investment committee, comprised of Scott Gold, Jake Sussman and Andy Cahill, oversees a strategy focused on senior secured debt and minority equity investments primarily to non-sponsored and independent sponsored companies.
